May 2014 Council Minutes

President Thomas E. Stinnett called the regular meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council to order at 7:09 p.m. May 14, 2014. Following the Pledge of Allegiance the roll call was taken.  PRESENT: Edward Bartosiewicz, Thomas Stinnett, Rich Pursell, Kathleen Weiss and Mayor Stokes. ABSENT Rodney Scott.  K. Weiss motioned to approve the minutes of theApril 9, 2014Council Meeting and E. Bartosiewicz seconded.  Unanimous. 

CORRESPONDENCE:  

            Letter received from Louise Fink’s Daughters-Barb, Sue and Jan, thanking Borough Mayor and Council for the memorial flowers for their mother.

            Borough office received the Annual report from Tilley Fire Equipment Co. for the Borough’s Extinguishers.

April 2014 Council Minutes

President Thomas E. Stinnett called the regular meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council to order at 7:00 p.m. April 9, 2014. Following the Pledge of Allegiance the roll call was taken.  PRESENT: Edward Bartosiewicz, Rodney Scott, Thomas Stinnett and Kathleen Weiss. ABSENT Rich Pursell.  Ed Bartosiewicz motioned to approve the minutes of the  March 12, 2014Council Meeting and Rodney Scott seconded.  Unanimous. 

CORRESPONDENCE:  

            Letter received from Roger Vonah in reference to the paving of the Fire Co. parking lot.  R. Vonah reported to Council that since BC Commissioner, Robert Loughery will be present during the Community Affairs meeting on April 16 he will discuss the grant opportunities for the parking lot to make it easier for ADA accessibility.

March 2014 Council Minutes

Stinnett called the regular meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council to order at 7:00 p.m. March 12, 2014. Following the Pledge of Allegiance the roll call was taken.  PRESENT: Edward Bartosiewicz, Rich Pursell, Rodney Scott, Thomas Stinnett, Kathleen Weiss and Mayor Stokes.  Rich Pursell motioned to approve the minutes of theFebruary 12, 2014 Council Meeting and Ed Bartosiewicz seconded.  Unanimous. 

CORRESPONDENCE:  

            Letter was read from Jim Streett thanking the Riegelsville Library/Borough for hosting the AARP Tax Help. Special thanks to Pam and Steve for providing exceptional tax preparation advice and counseling. A donation was given to the Library.

February 2014 Council Minutes

Kathy Weiss motioned to approve the minutes of theJanuary 8, 2014Council Meeting and Rodney Scott seconded.  Unanimous.

            Letter was read dated January 21, 2014 from Joseph Coco, Borough Resident.

            Letter was read dated January 28, 2014 from Bucks County Planning Commission/Open Space Program.

            Letter was read dated February 3, 2014 from Vickie Weaver, Borough Resident.

January 2014 Council Minutes

Stinnett called the regular meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council to order at 7:00 p.m. January 15, 2013. Following the Pledge of Allegiance the roll call was taken.  PRESENT: Edward Bartosiewicz, Rich Pursell, Rodney Scott, Thomas Stinnett, Kathleen Weiss and Mayor Stokes.  Ed Bartosiewicz motioned to approve the minutes of theDecember 11, 2013Council Meeting and Kathy Weiss seconded.  Unanimous.  Rich Pursell motioned to approve the minutes of the January 6, 2014 Reorg Council Meeting and Rodney Scott seconded.  Unanimous.

CORRESPONDENCE:  

            Letter was read dated December 11, 2013 from Joseph Coco, Borough Resident in reference to Speeding on Upper Delaware Road/Sherer’s Hill Road.
