    Notice is hereby given by the Council of the Borough of Riegelsville that it shall hold a public hearing on March 8, 2012 at 7:00pm at the Riegelsville Borough Hall, 615 Easton Road, Riegelsville, Pennsylvania, to vote on Riegelsville Proposed Ordinance No.222 entitled, “An Ordinance Amending the Riegelsville Borough Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map dated January 15, 1989, as amended.”  A full copy of the proposed ordinance may be examined without charge at the Borough Hall, the office of this newspaper or the Law Library at the Bucks County Court House during normal business hours, or may be obtained upon request for a charge not greater than the cost thereof. …

  • Eagle Scout Project

    Brandon Youpa,  a member of Boy Scout Troop – 127, (St. Peter’s Lutheran

    Church) is present working on his Eagle Scout Project.

    The project is to renovate and up-grade the Veterans Memorial located in the center of the Riegelsville Union Cemetery.

    Plans include replacing the flag pole,  laying a brick walk way and patio with two benches around the veterans monument, so people can  relax and think of all the sacrifices veterans gave to this country.

     

    To offset the cost,  Brandon is offering the public the opportunity to purchase a brick to be placed in the patio, to  honor a veteran, past or present. …

    Notice is hereby given by the Council of the Borough of Riegelsville that at its Regular Meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Borough Hall, Riegelsville, Pennsylvania, it shall consider the passage of an ordinance to re-enact, restate and amend the Borough of Riegelsville’s earned income tax ordinance.   • Earned Income Tax News Release

    The News release to follow will ONLY affect the Riegelsville Borough Properties that are in the Palisades School District effective January 1, 2011.   The Riegelsville Borough Properties that are in the Easton School District will not change until January 1, 2012.  It might still be helpful to attend one of these meetings in order to meet our new tax collector and to understand PA Act 32 implementation.

    Tom Butts, Keystone Tax Collector Director of Community Services will hold informational sessions for all businesses  now  mandated  by Act 32 to withhold Earned Income Tax (EIT) and (LST) and remit according to new State guidelines. …
