Brandon Youpa, a member of Boy Scout Troop – 127, (St. Peter’s Lutheran
Church) is present working on his Eagle Scout Project.
The project is to renovate and up-grade the Veterans Memorial located in the center of the Riegelsville Union Cemetery.
Plans include replacing the flag pole, laying a brick walk way and patio with two benches around the veterans monument, so people can relax and think of all the sacrifices veterans gave to this country.
To offset the cost, Brandon is offering the public the opportunity to purchase a brick to be placed in the patio, to honor a veteran, past or present. Two different size bricks are being offered, but with four different prices depending on wording and size.
This is a great way to honor a veteran , whether a parent, brother or sister, grandparents, friends or yourself.
