The regular meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council shall be held online on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 beginning at 7 p.m.  EDT. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

December 9, 2020 Council Minutes.

REPORTS OF OFFICERS:

President- Borough Council received a resignation from Michael Klimpl, Riegelsville Zoning Board

Solicitor effective 12/31/2020.

Mayor-

COMMENTS OF CITIZENS: Please state your name, you have a maximum 3 minutes to speak.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:  No meetings due to holidays.

ESSENTIAL BUSINESS: If anyone has any questions please comment prior to the vote.

Approval of the “2020 Exoneration list for Per Capita tax”.

Approval of “2020 Unpaid Per Capita tax to be filed with Berkheimer Tax Administration”.

Approval Tax Collector’s 2020 Municipal Liens filed with Bucks County Tax Claim.

Approval of Resolution R-01-21, Salary $2,610.00 per year for Elected Tax Collector 4 year term 2022-2025.

Approval of Resolution R-02-21, authorizing the Borough Tax Collector to increase the certification fee

$35.00 per tax Parcel.

Approval of pay request #2 (Library renovations) recommendations from Cowan Associates $45,680.00 to Pro-Com.  Balance to finish plus retainage is $3,500.00- in warmer weather.

Approval of change order #3 (Spring Hill Rd water project) recommendations from Cowan Associates $448.00 (will be added to the final payment below) to Passerini & Sons. (Restoration of residential driveway within waterline easement.)

Approval of final payment request (Spring Hill water project) recommended from Cowan Associates $5,473.85 to Passerini & Sons.

Approval Annual engagement letter for Auditor to perform 2020 DCED audit.

Appointment of a New Zoning Hearing Board solicitor.

Approval of check received from Ed Bartosiewicz for $330 (110 slates, $3.00 each)

Approval to purchase a replacement for the damaged Stihl pole saw cost $399.95.

Approval to purchase the bollards & split rail fencing for trail entrances approx. $2,128.00, plus additional proposal is needed for 6 cement pads.  We will reach out to the Borough Engineer and Zoning officer to see if anything else is needed.

 

APPROVAL OF BILLS:  

Approval to pay Ed Bartosiewicz $450.00 (Worked on Borough roof 6/19/17 & 10/25/19)

ADJOURNMENT:

January 18, 2021 Borough Offices closed “Martin Luther King Jr. Day”
