PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 60 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region

Motorists encouraged to call 1-800-FIX-ROAD or go online to report potholes

 King of Prussia, PA – PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be working on more than 60 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement across the five-county Philadelphia region. The roadways include:

Bucks County

 

  • Interstate 95 in Bensalem, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships;
  • U.S. 1 in Bensalem, Middletown and Falls townships;
  • Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) in Falls and Middletown townships and Penndel Borough;
  • U.S. 202 in Doylestown Township;
  • U.S. 202 in Buckingham and Solebury townships;
  • Route 32 (River Road) in Nockamixon and Bridgeton townships;
  • Route 113 (Broad Street/Souderton Road) in Hilltown Township;
  • Route 313 (Swamp Road) in Plumstead and Bedminster townships;
  • Route 611 (Easton Road) in Nockamixon Township and Riegelsville Borough;
  • Route 611 in Doylestown Borough;
  • Allentown Road in Milford Township;
  • Thatcher Road in Richland Township;
  • Bethlehem Pike in Hilltown Township and Sellersville Borough;
  • Diamond Street in Hilltown Township;
  • Blue School Road in Hilltown and Bedminster townships;
  • Bristol Road in Lower Southampton Township;
  • Bridgetown Pike in Lower Southampton and Northampton townships;
  • Bristol Road in Warrington and Warminster townships;
  • Butler Avenue in Doylestown and New Britain townships and Chalfont borough;
  • Swamp Road in Warwick Township;
  • Swamp Road in Wrightstown and Newtown townships; and
  • New Ford Mill Road in Falls Township.

  • U.S. 30 in Sadsbury, Valley, Caln, West Caln and West Whiteland townships;
  • U.S. 322 in West Goshen Township;
  • Route 52 (Price Street) in East Bradford Township;
  • Route 52 (Lenape Road) in Pocopson Township;
  • Route 82 (Manor Road) in West Brandywine Township;
  • Route 100 in West Whiteland Township;
  • Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in Upper Uwchlan and West Goshen townships;
  • Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) in East Vincent Township;
  • Route 896 (Newark Road) in Franklin Township;
  • Lincoln Avenue in East Caln Township;
  • Appleton Road in Franklin Township;
  • Creek Road in Pennsbury Township;
  • Whitford Road in West Whiteland Township;
  • Old Wilmington Road in West Caln Township;
  • Hibernia Road in West Brandywine Township;
  • Wagontown Road in West Brandywine Township; and

Delaware County

 

  • Interstate 476 in Radnor, Springfield, Marple and Haverford townships;
  • Route 252 (Newtown/Street Road) in Newtown Township;
  • Baltimore Pike in Clifton Heights Borough and Springfield and Upper Darby townships;
  • State Road in Upper Darby Township; and
  • Burmont Road in Upper Darby Township.

 

Montgomery County

 

  • Interstate 476 in Lower Merion Township;
  • U.S. 422 in Lower Providence and Upper Providence townships;
  • Route 29 (Gravel Pike) in Marlborough, Upper Frederick, Lower Frederick and Upper Providence townships and Collegeville Borough;
  • Route 63 (Main Street) in Green Lane Borough;
  • Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) in Worchester Township;
  • Route 611 (Old York Road) in Cheltenham Township;
  • Neiffer Road in Upper Frederick and Lower Frederick townships;
  • Cowpath Road in Franconia and Salford townships;
  • High Street in Pottstown Borough;
  • Bethlehem Pike in Springfield Township;
  • Mill Road in Hatboro Borough;
  • Philmont Ave in Lower Moreland Township;
  • Susquehanna Road in Upper Dublin and Abington townships;
  • Morris Road in Worchester Township; and
  • Radnor Road in Upper Merion Township.

 

Philadelphia

 

  • Interstate 76;
  • Interstate 95;
  • Interstate 676; and
  • U.S. 1.

 

 

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.

 

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.gov and clicking on “Submit Roadway Feedback.”

 

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 850 traffic cameras.

 

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
