Memorial Day Services

MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES – 5/25/25

Services will still be taking place there will just not be a march/ parade. The schedule of events will be as follows:

Memorial Service forms at Evangelical Lutheran Church of Durham at 11:45 A.M.

Service begins at 12:00

Invocation and prayer of commemoration

Volley Fire and Taps

We will move down to the bridge for

1: Prayer of Commemoration for those that have perished at sea

2: Launching of Memorial Wreath

We will then move to the World War 1 Monument

1: Placing of Memorial Wreath

2: Volley fire and Taps

We will then move to the Regeilsville Cemetery

1: Invocation and Prayer

2: Placing of Memorial Wreath at Veterans monument

3: Volley Fire and Taps

4: Scholarships for Palisades High School

5: The benediction
