Stinnett called the special meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council to order at 7:45 pm May 18, 2022. <strong>If anyone makes inappropriate comments, tries to sell something, is attacking someone, etc. you will be removed from this meeting. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call: PRESENT: Thomas Stinnett, Ed Bartosiewicz, Gary Chase, Rodney Scott and Mayor Stokes.\u00a0 Others present:\u00a0 Frank Preedy- Borough EMC, 3 Borough residents.<\/p>\n<p>T. Stinnett, Council President has a copy of the Special meeting ad that was in the Express times May 16 and on lehighvalleylive.com.<\/p>\n<p>T. Stinnett, Council President: Tonight Borough Council shall consider and, if appropriate, vote the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">1. Elmwood Lane\/Bidwell Lane Road Project.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Borough Council discussed the cost estimate during tonight\u2019s Utilities meeting.\u00a0 <strong>E. Bartosiewicz motioned to approve Cowan\u2019s construction cost estimate $123.395.91.\u00a0 G. Chase seconded.\u00a0 Unanimous.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>T. Stinnett stated Cowan will move forward with this project.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">2. Edgewood Water Main Project.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Borough Council discussed the material contract amount during tonight\u2019s Utilities meeting. <strong>R. Scott approved awarding LB Water materials contract Option 2 ($15,487.32) and Alternate 1 contract installation of the two valves ($4,325.00).
