{"id":7708,"date":"2022-01-07T11:21:21","date_gmt":"2022-01-07T16:21:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riegelsville.org\/?p=7708"},"modified":"2022-01-07T11:21:21","modified_gmt":"2022-01-07T16:21:21","slug":"7708","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riegelsville.org\/?p=7708","title":{"rendered":"DRAFT January 3 2022 Council Reorg minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The reorganization meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council was called to order on January 3, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Gregory Stokes.\u00a0 Following the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call was taken.\u00a0 PRESENT:\u00a0 Thomas E Stinnett, Ed Bartosiewicz, Kate Brandes, Gary Chase, Rodney Scott, Sherry Masteller and Tammy Macaluso.<\/p>\n<p>3 Borough Residents present.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Stokes issued the oath of office for newly elected Council Members, <em>Ed Bartosiewicz, Kate Brandes and Rodney Scott. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Mayor Stokes issued the oath of office to newly appointed Council Member, <em>Gary Chase. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Mayor Stokes issued the oath of office for newly elected Tax Collector, <em>Tammy Macaluso.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Stokes asked for nominations for President of Council.\u00a0 <strong>R. Scott motioned to appoint T. Stinnett as President of Council.\u00a0 E. Bartosiewicz seconded. \u00a0Unanimous.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mayor Stokes asked for nominations for Vice President of Council.\u00a0 <strong>E. Bartosiewicz motioned to appoint Rodney Scott as Vice President of Council.\u00a0 K. Brandes seconded. \u00a0\u00a0Unanimous.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mayor Stokes asked for nominations for President Pro Tempore.\u00a0 <strong>E. Bartosiewicz motioned to appoint K. Brandes as President Pro Tempore. T. Stinnett seconded. Unanimous.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mayor Stokes turned the chair over to President T. Stinnett.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T. Stinnett read each appointment: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Borough Secretary\u2013 <em>Sherry Masteller, <\/em><strong>R. Scott motioned to appoint. \u00a0K.
