If anyone makes inappropriate comments, tries to sell something, is attacking someone, etc. you will be removed from this meeting.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Members Present<\/u><\/strong><u>:<\/u> \u00a0Ann P Moyer, Ed Bartosiewicz, Kate Brandes, Tom Stinnett and Rodney Scott.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Others Present<\/u><\/strong><u>: <\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Mayor Stokes, Jim Kopchak-Borough Zoning officer, Frank Preedy- Borough EMC.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Concerns from citizens:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Please state your name, you have maximum 3 minutes to speak.<\/p>\n<p>2 borough resident on Zoom, No one spoke.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Discussions:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Zoning:<\/u><\/strong> Jim Kopchak, Borough Zoning Officer Permits: Nothing to report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enforcement Activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>129 Maplewood Road- No Update.<\/li>\n<li>715 Durham Road- No Update.<\/li>\n<li>303 Poplar Road, proposed garage, driveway and parking pad. Ongoing litigation.<\/li>\n<li>There will be a Zoning hearings scheduled soon for proposed deer fence 301 Ash Lane, Property owner signed a waiver to grant an extension due to Covid 19 status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Library News: <\/u><\/strong>Borough office received the August 2020 Directors report minutes have been filed. \u00a0A. Moyer reported that the Library is working as hard as they can during this time.\u00a0 The meeting room will be sanitized by Bucks County before the November 3 Election and after the Election so the Library may need to adjust their hours depending when the sanitizing is done. No one can use that area until after the Election.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Fire Co. News:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>E. Bartosiewicz reported that the Fire Co they continues to go on calls and practice but no fundraisers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Riegelsville Enhancement Committee<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No meetings.<\/li>\n<li>A. Moyer asked if the gardens are being kept up and T. Stinnett stated they are being taken care of.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>UBREMS News: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>E. Bartosiewicz reported nothing new to report just answering calls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Rec Board News:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R. Scott reported that we have had a lot of girls\u2019 softball fall league games and their playoff are the next two weekends. Nice to see the fields and park being used. Men\u2019s hardball team is doing well and they have a doubleheader Sunday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Riegelsville Emergency Management:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frank Preedy reported that on Thursday August 27 around 8:30 pm a short storm came through the Borough with high winds that took trees down and power outage in the north end of the Borough. The Riegelsville water system was on the emergency generator. \u00a0PennDot and Met Ed worked all night to get the tree near Linden Lane\/611 cleared. Friday morning they had 611 closed and that is a huge problem since the road closed signs where not placed correctly on 611 and dump trucks were going on alleys. \u00a0Frank called BC Emergency Management to assist with this safety problem. Frank stated S. Masteller was also working to get this serious situation taken care of.\u00a0 Local residents also helped with traffic control, flares until the State Police and Fire Company could get there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Riegelsville Planning Commission: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>T.
