{"id":7133,"date":"2020-04-29T09:01:40","date_gmt":"2020-04-29T13:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riegelsville.org\/?p=7133"},"modified":"2020-04-29T09:01:40","modified_gmt":"2020-04-29T13:01:40","slug":"update-4-28-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riegelsville.org\/?p=7133","title":{"rendered":"Update 4\/28\/20"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Updated: 4\/28\/20 Riegelsville Borough office, Tax Office and Zoning Office will be CLOSED to the public<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and Governor Wolf\u2019s has extended the &#8220;Stay at Home Order&#8221; until May 8, 2020<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Riegelsville Borough office, Tax Office and Zoning Office will be CLOSED to the public, effective immediately through MAY 8, 2020.\u00a0The Borough employees will continue working.\u00a0\u00a0You may call the offices, Fax or email.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The scheduled May 4, 2020 Riegelsville Planning Commission meeting and Council Committee meeting on Wednesday May 6, 2020 have been cancelled.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>*** Water bills have been mailed the DUE DATE has been extended until\u00a0June 1, 2020\u00a0do the Corona virus\u00a0Emergency.***<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>***Please be assured that all emergency services, including police, fire, and EMS services, will continue to run without interruption.\u00a0In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We will keep you updated as to what businesses are remaining open in the area.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Muellers General Store is open, the restaurant is closed Monday &amp; Tuesday\u2019s should reopen Wednesday.<\/li>\n<li>Borderline, \u201cTakeOut\u201d only 610-749-0833.<\/li>\n<li>Riegelsville Inn, &#8220;TakeOut&#8221; only 610-749-0100<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Riegelsville Borough encourages all members of the community to stay safe and follow the best practices to avoid infection. These practices include the points below:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash your hands frequently using soap and water, especially before eating and after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.<\/li>\n<li>Use hand sanitizer if you are unable to wash with soap and water.<\/li>\n<li>Use household cleaning spray or disinfectant wipes to regularly clean surfaces and objects that are frequently used or touched.<\/li>\n<li>Stay home if you are sick.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe distance of six (6) feet when speaking or meeting with others.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cdc.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/cdc.gov\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1588251013353000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHo0RQgOvvLPJFtUB6S-ahinewxcA\">CDC.gov<\/a>\u00a0recommends wearing a mask to protect others when going out in public.
