President Thomas E. Stinnett called the regular meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council to order at 7:00 p.m. January 15, 2013<\/span>.\u00a0Following the Pledge of Allegiance the roll call was taken.\u00a0 PRESENT:\u00a0Edward Bartosiewicz, Rich Pursell, Rodney Scott, Thomas Stinnett, Kathleen Weiss and Mayor Stokes.\u00a0 <\/span>Ed Bartosiewicz motioned to approve the minutes of the<\/strong>December 11, 2013<\/strong>Council Meeting and Kathy Weiss seconded.\u00a0 Unanimous.\u00a0 <\/span>Rich Pursell motioned to approve the minutes of the January 6, 2014 Reorg Council Meeting and Rodney Scott seconded.\u00a0 <\/span>Unanimous. <\/strong><\/p>\n

CORRESPONDENCE:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Letter was read dated December 11, 2013 from Joseph Coco, Borough Resident in reference to Speeding on Upper Delaware Road\/Sherer\u2019s Hill Road.\u00a0 Council asked Sherry Masteller to send a letter requesting Mr. Coco and the other Borough residents that are listed on the letter to discuss this during the February 5, 2014 Streets & Properties Meeting.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Email was read from Bucks County Borough Association, General membership meeting is January 27, 2014 Guest Speaker is Robert Loughery, Chairman of Bucks County Commissioners.\u00a0 Tom and Sherry are attending.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Email was read from Bucks County Emergency Management Agency, G-191 Incident Command System (ICS) one day course February 10, 2014. Frank Preedy and Ray Kenny will be attending.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tammy Macaluso, Riegelsville Borough Tax Collector gave Council the 2014 Lien Report summary of 2013 and prior taxes.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0President \u2013 <\/strong>Nothing to report<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Mayor<\/strong>\u2013<\/strong> Mayor Stokes spoke to property owner Mike Cavallaro in reference to the snow removal in the Borough. Mayor Stokes performed a wedding and they gave a donation to the Riegelsville Rec Board. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>COMMENTS OF CITIZENS –<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Elaine Albrecht, Riegelsville Enhancement Committee member, announced that they will be doing the Hoagie Sale Fundraiser on \u201cSuper Bowl Sunday\u201d February 2, 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sherry Masteller, Borough Secretary discussed with Council to change the Borough Office hours to 8am-2pm. Council approved<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

APPROVAL OF BILLS<\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0 Rodney Scott motioned to approve and E. Bartosiewicz seconded.\u00a0 Unanimous<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
